Dr. Rishikesh "Rishi" Venugopal

Dr. Rishikesh "Rishi" Venugopal currently works at Baxter International as the Sr Director of Global Marketing for Digital Health in the Renal Care Business. Rishi has over a decade of experience in strategic innovation, new product development, product marketing, and the commercialization of software solutions. Prior to Baxter, Rishi led Product Marketing for the Digital platform in the Medication Management business at Becton Dickinson. While at BD, Rishi was responsible for the successful commercialization and scale-up of Connected Medication Management solutions while driving Agile transformation and growth of a high-performing Product Marketing organization. In the earlier years of his career, Rishi held R&D roles focused on the design and development of clean transportation technologies in both start-up and large global organizations. 

 

Rishi holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and an Executive MBA from the University of California San Diego. He currently lives in San Diego, California with his wife Jyotsna and two boys, Samvit (6 yo) and Nikhil (4 yo).
