Lenny Barbod

Lenny is leading new product development for Biora Therapeutics as the Associate Director of Mechanical Engineering. They are developing 2 different products designed to deliver drugs to the GI tract. Both are ingested, travel through the anatomy and deliver their drug payload at pre-defined locations. There is a mechanically activated, needle-free delivery of a large molecule version. There is an electronic version that sense's location to deliver a bolus of drug at targeted locations.  He is leveraging his extensive background in mechanical and electronic medical devices with drug delivery in a miniaturized format. Lenny is a BSME graduate from SDSU.
