Space views to seafloors: Satellite discovery marks defining moment in tsunami science
Apr 1New research led by San Diego State University assistant professor Ignacio Sepúlveda was published in the March 2026 issue of Science, one of the world’s top peer-reviewed academic journals. In collaboration with researchers in three nations, Sepúlveda used satellite observations to capture tsunami details that are often difficult to measure with traditional tools.
