Biography

 

Sara Adibi is an Assistant Professor at San Diego State University (SDSU). Prior to joining SDSU, she was an Assistant Research Professor at the Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems (CAVS) at Mississippi State University (MSU). Sara was a postdoctoral fellow at Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, a visiting research fellow at the University of Texas at Austin, and a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Houston in the department of civil and environmental engineering prior to joining CAVS. She obtained her PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in collaboration with the Institute of High-Performance Computing (IHPC) in 2015. She received master’s and bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), Iran. Sara conducts research on data-driven and physics-based multi-scale material modeling.
