Bio
Dr. Santosh KC is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at San Diego State University (SDSU). Dr. KC received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering (2014) and M.S. in Physics (2011) from the University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. KC worked at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (2015-2018) and the University of California, Santa Barbara (2018-2019) as a post-doctoral research associate. Dr. KC joined San Jose State University (SJSU) as an Assistant Professor of Materials Engineering in Fall 2019. His overall research focus is on computational materials modeling and simulation of various materials for technological applications such as Li-ion batteries and semiconductor devices. Dr. KC uses high-performance computing (HPC) resources to perform simulations of the structure and properties of materials.
