Nicholas Agutal Graduation

I conducted research in control and optimization of large scaled networked systems where I developed an algorithm to optimally land a fleet of autonomous drones in an urban air environment. I also worked as an intern at Northrop Grumman for two summers, serving as a Model Based Systems Engineer and a Modeling and Simulation Engineer. I am currently working on my senior design project where myself along with four of my Mechanical Engineering peers are constructing a test apparatus that will be used to quantify the in-plane strain components on a sample of elastomeric foam used in sports helmets. With this, the effects of rotational acceleration on the foam efficacy can be assessed. Post graduation, I will be working at Northrop Grumman as a Modeling and Simulation Engineer.
