| The faculty all participate in undergraduate advising. Students are assigned to an advisor based on the first letter of their last name. Please contact the department office for the list for the current semester.
Students are encouraged to seek out their faculty advisor as soon as possible. Call or email for an appointment, please do not wait until the last minute to schedule! Our advising tool is the Master Plan, which helps the student and advisor to track their progress. Adherence to this process ensures that students fulfill their prerequisite requirements and graduate in a timely fashion. |

The Master Plan is a form that tracks which major courses a student takes, semester by semester, and what grade is received. This allows student and advisor to more easily check prerequisites and make sure students are on track to graduate. Blank forms are available in front of the department office. Please take the Master Plan and copies of transcripts to your advising appointment, and fill out with your advisor. Master Plans are kept on file in the department office until the semester before graduation, when it must be signed off by your advisor and sent forward to the Evaluations office.
